My Typing Test

Learning goal-I am practicing my typing so I can be quicker and more accurate.

Success criteria-This will help me finish my work faster.

Friday

On Monday I got 41 WPM and today I got 42 WPM. I have got a higher score today because I was focused my screen and there was peace a quit.

Today I read from page 41 to page 66 and this is what happend.

Vonda was in the semi-finals for the the super chef copitetion and her parents drove her there. On the way to the TV studio they saw things werent right, traffic lights were crooked, signs had bite marks and way more things!

When they got to the studio they saw a dressing room with Vonda's name on it. The whole family was looking and exploring the room, then Vonda was called by the crew, one person from the crew put make-up on her, another fixed her hair and the last one dressed her with a pink chef hat.

Vonda was a bit nervous when she saw the other contestants she got all her things ready to cook and began. The family was in a room where they could watch Vonda cook, but Vinny didn't want to watch so he snuck out and went wandering to different shows. Then we went back to the dressing room and he watched TV. Suddenly the news flash came on, saying that the city dam had 2 bite marks, one more bite then the dam would blow!

My Silent reading today- Meet the Vampiresons

Today I read from page 16 to 28 and this is what happend.

Vonda(Sister Vamp) is cooking a sauce made of toffee in a pot but all the sauce is sprouting everywhere and bubbling.

Vonda knew she had to start again, then she had a great plan, she could make a new sauce and then she knew that she could make pasta and put the sauce in it, with some peaches that were smashed.

She took it to school to present it to the chef. When she got there everyone wanted to eat her sauce but some of the kids got sticky.

Then the Chef came but Mr Smythe(Principle) got stuck to the light, the Chef was just about to leave when Vonda stopped him and gave him a taste of her sauce, he liked it so he told her to drop of her food to the TV Studio where the competition will be held.

My Silent reading today

Today I read from page 197 to 204\the end and this is what happend.

Pig, Duck, Cow and Kiki hop out of the sub and Kiki gives The Captain a kiss on his check and walks off to catch up with the others, The Captain blushes for a moment.

The walk is not so far to the farm. Pig, Duck, Cow and Kiki have arrived, Mrs Sandal comes running out and is so excited to see Pig, Duck and Cow. Kiki jumps up and the Sandals have seen Kiki, Kiki introduced himself but in Turkey, The Sandals start laughing, everybody starts to laugh.

Pig says Kiki can sleep with Kiki until he gets a home for himself. Duck and Cow come and join, Pig says it is just like a sleepover.
